About MelindaMelinda Maddock marched to save Tasmania’s Franklin River at the age of 10 and organised a national student petition for world peace at the age of 14. With a degree in political science she shaped a career as a political adviser and senior bureaucrat. She has extensive experience in public policy, strategy and campaigning, and has been a facilitator of workshops for over ten years. She is an executive coach and Leadership Fellow with the Global Leadership Foundation. In her work Melinda draws on the clever minds of others. Her sources include Theory U (Presencing Institute), Creative Facilitation, the Enneagram personality framework and emotional health (Global Leadership Foundation), and The Interconnected Leader (Small Giants Academy). In 2022 Melinda published a book, How to Train Your Political Animal: A power handbook for changing yourself and your world. In 2023 the book was a finalist in the US-based 17th Annual National Indie Excellence Awards (social/political change category). Melinda and her husband are Directors of Madfinch Pty Ltd, a Hobart-based company they established in 2013 that provides consulting and film production services. |
