About MelindaWriter, coach, facilitator and political animal
Melinda Maddock marched to save Tasmania’s Franklin River at the age of 10 and organised a national student petition for world peace at the age of 14. She shaped a career as a political adviser and senior bureaucrat, with extensive experience in public policy, strategy and campaigning. Melinda and her husband are Directors of Madfinch Pty Ltd, a Tasmanian company they established in 2013 that provides training and film production services. With a degree in political science, Melinda’s professional learning also includes creative facilitation, the Enneagram system of personality typing and co-design. Melinda loves inspiring people to understand themselves better, to find creative solutions, and use their power to implement change. She also loves working for herself and living in Hobart under kunanyi/Mt Wellington with her creative family. ![]() Melinda is also a Fellow with the Global Leadership Foundation. |
